The diverse nature of proprietary protocols, developed by different OEMs has pushed the medical industry to adopt commonality in sharing information between the equipments. IHE is such an initiative by healthcare professionals and associated organizations.

NeST has implemented IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) Profiles for Ultrasound and MR modality machines and these include Scheduled Workflow (SWF), Evidence Documents (ED) and Teaching file and Clinical trial Export (TCE).

HL 7

Using HL7 (Health Level Seven) our expert engineers have integrated HIS (Hospital Information Systems) with RIS (Radiological Information Systems) from different vendors. Implemented messages include ADT (Admission Discharge and Transfer) and ORM (Order Entry) messages. We also have commendable experience in linking HL7 and DICOM along with MPPS (Modality Performed Procedure Step) .

We are proficient at implementing HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Privacy Rule for several modality machines.
